A different way to experience Raja Ampat

ipyum is a quiet place to stay among the forests, reefs and islands of Raja Ampat. Discover our guest houses, food, natural surroundings and the experiences that make time here feel different.

Between forest and sea

ipyum stretches along the coast between the forest and the sea. From Lamun Beach, wooden jetties lead across the water to our overwater guest houses, while a path beneath the palms connects Lamun Beach with Kerang Beach.

Find a quiet place beside the water, settle into a deckchair or wander through gardens alive with tropical plants and butterflies. At ipyum, there is no schedule unless you want one.

Space to slow down

Stay at the beach or over the sea

Our guest houses are designed around their surroundings, with open spaces, natural airflow and wide views across the water or forest. Comfort comes from thoughtful design in a stunning natural setting.

Make yourself at Home

At Home, our shared space, guests come together to eat, relax and enjoy the view.

À table!

We love good food, and at ipyum it is part of the stay. Three freshly prepared meals are included each day, with menus bringing together Indonesian flavours, international favourites and original dishes developed in our own kitchen. We serve colourful, generous plates with plenty of plant-based choices—all made to be enjoyed at a slower pace.

All the dishes shown have been made by us. Some photographs have been digitally restyled to show how they may be presented at ipyum.

Our House Reef

1.3 kilometres of healthy reef, starting directly below our overwater guest houses.

Explore coral gardens from the jetty or take a five-minute boat ride to the huge reef across ipyum Bay. Few people come here, and we work hard to keep our reef pristene so it’s in good shape.

At ipyum reef is not an excursion. It is where you stay.
